Artist’s statement

During the first Covid shutdown I wanted to create a mask that would reflect a post-apocalyptic appearance to show the extremity and future of this pandemic virus.

The title Covid1311 translates to  “Covid Monet Kittrell.”  (13 and 11 are the numeric value of the letters M and K — my initials. )
